Biography

A listing is a thin document. It gives a name, a field, a photograph and a link, and it leaves out almost everything else: no crew, no date, no running order, no contract. That thinness is not a fault. It is the shape of the format, which indexes people rather than productions and expects the visitor to arrive already curious. What the listing can do is fix a spelling. It can tell you that the name is written this way and not that way, that the alias exists, and that the face in the photograph belongs to the same entry. Everything beyond that has to come from the work itself.
